Walter Pettiford

Minister of Outreach

Rev. Walter Pettiford was born to Ada Hinton Pettiford and Walter Pettiford in Louisburg, North Carolina, where he was raised and received his formal education. He has done further study in theology through Oklahoma Wesleyan University and Oklahoma Baptist University.

Rev. Pettiford moved with his family to Bartlesville, OK in 1974. He became a member of Greater First Baptist Church in 1977. He served as Youth Minister for several years at GFB. He was licensed to preach the gospel in January 1982 at GFB and ordained at GFB in July 1983.
