KAA Kamp 2007 -
We're back! Our 16th trip to Kids Across America
Kamp - yes, camp with a "K" - or like we say it
loud, "KAA!!!...U-KNOW!!! was truly a blessed
experience. Isn't that amazing, our 16th trip?
God continues to do a tremendous work in our
community through KAA. for that, we say, "Thank
you!" Our annual retreats to KAA have helped
mold the lives of hundreds of Bartlesville's
kids.
We started with a list of 90 kids and adults
wanting to go. We ended up with 63 of us,
including 55 kids and adults, or Kaleos
(Greek for "One who is called")! Of the group,
10 kids and 2 Kaleos were first-timers. I'm
pleased to say all of them want to go back next
year! At KAA we have positive changes of heart,
make and renew commitments to be better people,
and are encouraged to overcome life's obstacles!
Most importantly, we learn to trust God, lean on
each other, and to walk out our faith daily.
KAA Kamps are Christian sports camps near
Golden, MO about 25 miles north of Eureka
Springs, AR and 40 miles southeast of Branson,
MO. They are no beautiful Table rock Lake in the
Ozark Mountains.
We purpose to take 100 kids and 10 adults each
summer. Our ultimate mission and goal is to
develop sound character in our community's youth
through a personal relationship with GOD through
Jesus Christ. We started in 1992 with 30 kids
and have grown to a stead group of about 80
kids. Thank you for your continued support.
