Dr. Timothy Jackson

Timothy Jackson was
born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He was educated in Denver
earning his bachelor's degree at the University of Colorado. He
majored in Molecular Cellular Development Biology with the
intention of pursing a professional medical degree. Jackson has
studied preventative medicine at the University of Colorado
Health Sciences Center. He entered Conservative Baptist
Theological Seminary and International Theological Seminary
where he received his Doctorate (Th.D.) in Theology. Jackson's
thesis was entitled "Black Theology" A Biblical response. Dr.
Jackson also has a Doctorate in Ministry (Dmin.) from Midwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. His thesis was
entitled "Alternate Methods for Inner City Youth Ministry."
He presently serves
as Senior Pastor of the Greater First Baptist Church. He
has served the state as Moderator of St. Paul's District and is
the present Director of the Bartlesville Center Ministerial
Training Institute, Oklahoma Baptist University where he teaches
college accredited New and Old Testament classes.
Dr. Jackson has
traveled extensively all over the United States and has served
on three mission trips to Africa. He conducts numerous Revivals,
seminars on Church leadership, Christian Education, Singles
ministry and Discipleship. Dr. Jackson is an avid fisherman and
hunter, amateur historian, chess player. He loves the Lord,
God's people and the Denver Broncos.
He is married to
Michelene Jackson, a physician's assistant who practices general
family medicine. The Jacksons have a son named Marquisse
Alexander and a daughter Makayla Renee. The Jacksons agree that
their greatest achievement in life was given when Christ died
for them that they might have access to the tree of life,
salvation, and greatest opportunity of all, to serve God by
serving mankind. |
